Cooperation and Exchange of the Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program in Humanities - PPGICH
The Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Program in Humanities, Masters in Humanities, has established solid relations with universities in Brazil and abroad, which can be seen through the development of international projects and through the articulation established among the members of its faculty when conducting research missions and / or post-doctoral internships abroad.
In regards the research line "Spaces, memories and social configurations", it should be noted that the New Social Cartography Project of the Amazon (PNCSA), coordinated by Prof. Dr. Alfredo Wagner Berno de Almeida (Research Productivity Fellow at CNPq, level 2), has international relevance and funding from a variety of sources, through technical cooperation protocols and projects approved from public calls. In the research line "Criticism, interpretation and history of art forms", the international project "Representations of the culture of the Amazon" is being structuralized: at the post-colonial border, to be jointly developed by the Amazonas State University, University of Nottigham and the University of Warwick, whose coordination is in the responsability of Prof. Dr. Otávio Rios Portela, who completed his post-doctoral training at the University of Porto with a CAPES scholarship in the second half of 2014.
In terms of Technical Cooperation, the agreement signed between the Amazonas State University and the Mamirauá Institute for Sustainable Development gains relevance in terms of materiality for the Interdisciplinary Post-Graduation Program in Human Sciences, either by linking the faculty and to the infrastructure allocated to the Center for Higher Studies of Tefé of the Amazonas State University (CEST-UEA), or conferring on the PPGICH another scientific dynamic little known to more traditional university circles. |
