> COMPLEMENTARY ATIVITIES
Observations:
The credits structure of the Masters Course in Environmental Law requires 4 credits in complementary activities, including publications, presentation of papers in congresses, teaching internship and other activities, according to the program created by the advisor.
These activities have as their purpose both the dissemination of the research carried out within the framework of the Masters in Environmental Law and the diversification of student activities, with the objective that academic activities are not restricted to the classroom, encouraging researchers to adopt an active posture in the construction and diffusion of knowledge.

In this sense, it is important to emphasize that the complementary activities include academic activities developed in the ambit of the Postgraduate Program, as well as those related to the Program of Integration with Graduation, High School and Junior School and special projects aimed at the community in general.

The attribution of credits related to the complementary activities related to the objectives and research projects of the Program, as well as to the theme of the student´s dissertation for the Masters degree. It is linked to the following system:
a) article in national journal or chapter of a book published nationally: up to 2 credits;
b) presentation of work in congress or conference: up to 2 credits;
c) article in international journal or chapter in book published abroad: up to 3 credits;
d) presentation of work in conference or international congress: up to 3 credits;
e) Publication of summary in annals of a congress: up to 1 credit;
> HIGHLIGHT: CURRICULAR INTEGRATION
Observations:
In order to complete the curriculum and obtain the Masters degree, the student must obtain at least 32 (thirty-two) credits (each credit corresponds to 15 (fifteen) hours), as follows:
I - 10 (ten) credits related to the compulsory subjects;
II - 12 (twelve) credits from non-compulsory subjects;
III - four (4) credits from complementary activities;
IV - 6 (six) credits for the defense of the dissertation.
The non-compulsory subjects will be chosen by taking into account the field of research and the theme of the dissertation.
The maximum term for obtaining the Masters degree will be 30 (thirty) months.
